Creteseal® moisture control systems are backed by OBEX’s 15-Year Warranty against flooring failure due to negative-side moisture vapor emissions and alkalinity. The warranty covers labor and materials necessary to repair or replace the floor covering system. The Creteseal® product line provides value-engineered and competitively-priced Moisture Control Systems, giving the design team, owners, and contractors peace of mind there will not be costly flooring failures now, or at any time in the future.
OBEX maintains a network of OBEX Certified Installers (OCI) trained to meet OBEX manufacturer installation requirements for Creteseal® moisture control products. OBEX dispatches an onsite representative to train aspiring OCI candidates to verify they meet OBEX installation requirements for issuance of the 15-Year Warranty. From a project’s planning stage to notice of completion, OBEX provides an unparalleled level of customer support and expert guidance regarding anything related to concrete moisture control and resilient flooring systems.
Regarding flooring placement, OBEX requires the flooring contractor follow ASTM F710, Standard Practice for Preparing Concrete Floors to Receive Resilient Flooring, and all manufacturer installation instructions, requirements, and specifications for installing the flooring system, thereby maintaining the manufacturer’s product guarantee(s).
